Running Clinic

This running clinic is specifically designed to help you achieve performance while helping to eliminate injuries many athletes face.

Running Clinic will address:

  • Tips to avoid injury
  • More efficient running
  • Correct shoes for your foot type and physiology
  • Tips for long and short distance runners

This hands-on-clinic will:

  • Test you strength and flexibility
  • Evaluate your running form and biomechanics
  • Evaluate your running shoes to maximize performance
  • Address common causes factors of pain and injuries

Running Clinic Clinicians

Kim Parker, MPT, COMT
Physical therapist and Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist

Kim combines manual therapy skills with therapeutic exercise and functional training to help her patients reach their goals. She earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of California, San Francisco / San Francisco State University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy.

She also has a specialty certification in orthopedic manual therapy. She was a teaching assistant for a yearlong advanced training course in manual therapy and involved in teaching the personal trainer education program at a large financial district gym. Kim's areas of expertise include the lower extremity and spine as well as biomechanics and movement analysis. She is an avid runner and enjoys giving running talks to the community.

Jenny Sanders, DPM
Podiatric Physician

Dr. Jenny Sanders has been practicing Podiatric Medicine in the Financial District since 1990. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.Dr. Sanders is an adjunct Clinical Professor for the Department of Applied Biomechanics at Samuel Merritt College.

She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical and a frequent lecturer at their nationally recognized Western Podiatric Medical Congress. Dr. Sanders' areas of clinical expertise include Biomechanics, Gait Analysis, Orthotic Therapy, Sports and Performance Podiatric Medicine, Shoe Fitting as well as general podiatry.
