Sturdy McKee, MPT, CSCS
Sturdy has taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels, worked with professional and college athletes, and loves helping people recover from their injuries and return to their sport or work. He has appeared on KGO radio, has been quoted in
Jerry Durham, MPT

Jerry has been practicing physical therapy for over 10 years, and has completed an advanced residency in orthopaedic manual therapy. Jerry is a Clinical Instructor for physical therapy students in our facilities and is responsible for staff physical therapists' clinical development. A licensed racing cyclist, Jerry also teaches in the community to standing room only audiences. He is an expert in manual physical therapy and movement analysis and specializes in cycling, sports and work-related injuries. Originally from Napa, Jerry earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at Chapman University in Los Angeles, and his Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology at Sacramento State University.
Katie Patel, MPT, Cert MDT
Katie Patel has been in practice for 9 years and has extensive post graduate education in orthopedic physical therapy. Two areas of her clinical focus are rehabilitation of mechanical spinal disorders and the pediatric/adolescent orthopedic population. She is a Certified McKenzie Clinician and also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Katie enjoys working with people of all ages with both chronic and acute problems to reach their optimal rehabilitation. She graduated from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston where she received her Masters in Physical Therapy in 1997.
Lowen Cattolico, MS, PT, OCS

We are proud to announce that Lowen recently passed for Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist certification from the American Physical Therapy Association. She earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of California, San Francisco / San Francisco State University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy and her Bachelor's Degree from Princeton University. Lowen has excellent evaluation and manual therapy skills. She has spoken at UCSF, and given workshops on injury prevention and wellness. Lowen practices at our Market Street and Downtown locations.
Kristine Willey, MS, PT
Kris is a graduate of University of California/San Francisco State University and holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. She adds over a year of clinical experience plus multiple years of personal training to our clinic. Kris was an All-American swimmer during her collegiate career and continues to participate in swimming and running. She has also spoken publicly about how to improve the effciency of swimming as well as how to prevent injuries while training. Kris has also taken continuing education courses for the lumbar and cervical spine. She practices at our Marina location.
Kathy Michihira, MPT
Kathy has been practicing for 10 years and working exclusively in ergonomics for the past 4 years. She provides expert ergonomics assessments at a variety of work sites around the Bay Area and Sacramento. She not only assesses the work environment but how the individual interacts with it. Proper equipment is essential, but is only half of the equation. How the individual makes use of their body in their environment is the other half. Kathy has excellent working relationships with some of the top vendors in the field and provides references for any equipment recommendations made. Kim Parker, MPT, COMT
Kim is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. She combines her manual therapy skills with therapeutic exercise and functional training to help her patients reach their goals. She earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of California, San Francisco / San Francisco State University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy and her bachelors degree from University of California, Los Angeles in Biology. She is a teaching assistant for a yearlong advanced training course in manual therapy, and is involved in teaching the personal trainer education program at a large financial district gym. Her interests include running, swimming, and triathlons.
Leigh Allen, MSPT
Leigh brings more than 6 years of experience in physical therapy and a whole-body approach to treatment. She earned her Master of Science degree in physical therapy from the UCSF/SFSU graduate program. Leigh has advanced manual therapy training in spine and orthopedic injuries, as well as foot and ankle biomechanics. She enjoys working with a variety of patients including older adults, athletes and weekend warriors, and she has a special interest in safe and healthy yoga practice.

Heather brings over 7 years of experience to her practice. She is a certified orthopedic manual therapist and enjoys applying these skills to help her patients recover from a variety of injuries. She earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of California, San Francisco / San Francisco State University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing pilates and training for triathlons.
Alicia Roberts, MSPT
Alicia Roberts earned her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of California, San Francisco/San Francisco State. She is a Marin County native who is a long time avid runner, completing 3 marathons and various shorter distances. Besides running, Alicia likes to take advantage of the many outdoors activities the Bay Area has to offer. She enjoys working with her patients to help them return to their optimal functional level; whether that is participating in sports, getting through a full work day or performing their daily activities without discomfort. Alicia practices at our Marina location.
